Professor Li Xiangting elected president of the China Guqin Committee

Distinguished Guqin master Professor Li Xiangting, senior consultant to the North American Guqin Association, has been elected president of the China Guqin Committee (the organization was formed from the amalgamation of several guqin societies of various schools). This is in recognition of his outstanding achievements in the field of guqin music, as well as his personal qualities as a “ qinren” . The China National Orchestral Music Society consulted many guqin masters before authorizing the 2 year appointment.
